CAP Index
The CAP Index® provides information and data used in crime forecasting. This information is used by Fortune® 1000 corporations and government agencies to minimize losses that can include fraud, lawsuits, shortage, liability, and crimes against personel and property. They provide different crime forecasting models, loss mitigation solutions, crime data, crime reports, and other services many U.S. Fortune 100 Companies, retailers, banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, and quick service restaurant (QSR) companies all over the United States.

The CAP Index’s products are from an advanced evaluation system that accurately identifies risks to company personal and property crimes for locations in the United States, Canada, and the UK. Their CRIMECAST reports enable clients to rank and compare multiple locations for site selection, litigation, allocation of security resources, and liability insurance underwriting.

Center For Problem-Oriented Policing
The Center for Problem-Oriented Policing is a non-profit organization comprising affiliated police practitioners, researchers, and universities dedicated to the advancement of problem-oriented policing. What this means is that rather than just keep treating the symptoms of a problem, the underlying causes are determined to try and reduce or eliminate the need for continual policing and enforcement. In this way both crime and the expense of policing may be reduced.
