In a career spanning over thirty years where he has been retained in over 100 cases, J. R. Roberts has worked as a Private Investigator in Los Angeles, California, served as Vice President of Georgia Citizens Against Crime, and Director of Risk Management for Valor Security Services, Inc.

Mr. Roberts has lectured for the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Florida (with whom he holds the title of (certified crime prevention practitioner), The Federal Law Enforcement Center, The Society of Former FBI Agents, as well as numerous fortune 1,000 corporations.

In private practice since 1997, Mr. Roberts is frequently consulted by such diverse media entities as CNN, Parade Magazine, 48 Hours, and a profusion of newspapers and industry related periodicals. J. R.'s expertise has also been prominently and nationally displayed in a wide variety of civil suits concerning issues of crime and security, where he has provided consultation, affidavit, deposition and trial testimony for plaintiff or defendant in over 100 cases.

Since 1997, Mr. Roberts has conducted more than 20 in depth, comprehensive security audits of major commercial properties across the country for such well known firms as Faison, Compass, and The Wells Park Group. Mr. Roberts is an active member of the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners, and is a certified Crime Prevention Specialist with that organization.
